All donations are welcome
In China, little money goes a long way.
One hundred dollars sends a child to school for one year, and although school is mandatory, some parents cannot afford it, nor they can afford the necessary shoes, jacket and bag. Thirteen dollars pay for one set of school chair and table.
Please send your donation by check to the Unicon Foundation in Atlanta.
We are planning to implement a program of “Adoption for a year”, where each sponsor would receive the photo and the address of the child he is sponsoring.

Volunteers

In every location schools are eager to have international volunteers with a fair knowledge of English.
Basic Chinese is preferable. One or 2 hours of private Chinese lessons per day will be available on location.
Depending on the location lodging will be in private home with very little comfort or in government buildings or the school itself with scant comfort. In Sopo fair accommodation will be provided on location by the Foundation once the project is on tracks.

How to become a volunteer

We are looking for more volunteers, more specifically a website expert, a photo shop expert, Chinese-English and English-Chinese translators (translations can be done by email) and English speaking volunteers for rural schools.
Even if you are only available for a couple of days per month, your help would be greatly appreciated.
